Loneliness

• The loneliest rooms aren't empty ones.

• This loneliness is the hardest kind. (It doesn't come with an obvious explanation or an obvious fix).

• It rarely starts with one moment..it's the slow accumulation of conversations that stayed surface level.

• You might both still have an okay relationship, no crisis, just a quiet sense of not being fully known by this significant other in your life.

• Some people assume this is just what long-term relationships become. (for some it is, for others something was never resolved).

• Is this loneliness about the relationship itself? or is it about how much of yourself you're actually bringing to it?

• The "Settledness" can cover something that was never fully resolved. Perhaps this felt safer to accomodate until accomodation became the relationship...both are worth finding out.

If it hits home, I offer a brief complimentary conversation to find ways to experience deeper and more meaningful relationships.
