Grief and Loss

The hidden cost of grieving someone who is alive

• The person is still alive, so why does it feel like grief?

• A parent you've grown apart from. A relationship that quietly ended.

• Bereavement has finality, yet this kind of loss stays open, painful and unresolved.

• Grieving someone you have complicated feelings about, well that's even harder to name.

• There's no coffin but the loss is real. The weight is heavy.

• It doesn't need fixing... It needs naming and that's usually where some sort of healing and closure can begin.

• This grief arrives tangled, filled with anger and resentment. It was a love that never got the response it needed.

If this feels familiar, I offer short, no-pressure, no-commitment conversations to help unpack all of this and find ways to heal and move forward.
Truth is, you can't heal from what you don't understand.
