About Therapy

Space for: Reflection + Self-Awareness + Understanding + Clarity + New Ways of  Thinking + Emotional Resilience + Self-Compassion + Authenticity

Sometimes, we get caught up in our daily lives, relying on auto-pilot, pushing aside our worries and concerns and not allowing space to process our emotions.

You may be facing difficulties in life that are just too big to manage on your own or you may be feeling stuck, anxious or disconnected on the inside. My approach is not about quick fixes, it’s about understanding root causes shaping your emotions and relationships. We are the sum of all that we have experienced in life and sometimes events in our past leave their emotional imprint on our present circumstances. I believe the desire of most human beings is to love and be loved and when this doesn’t happen, emotional distress occurs.

You may be struggling with loneliness, feeling anxious or depressed. Or perhaps caught up in workplace ruptures or conflicts in personal relationships. Or you might be bereaved and stuck in a cycle of sadness, anger or guilt. Or just generally stuck but yet feeling this might be the right time to visit painful memories or events from the past. If this resonates with you, I am here to help and support you.

Through a safe reflective space, we will spend time exploring your thoughts, feelings and behaviour patterns, helping you develop a stronger sense of self, healthier relationships and emotional resilience.I strongly believe that the client-therapist relationship plays an integral part in the therapeutic process allowing you to feel heard and understood.

I provide an inclusive and culturally aware approach to clients from different backgrounds, which includes considering the psychological impact of race and culture in your lived experiences.

My clinical practice works with a wide range of presentations including, trauma, anxiety, depression, burnout, identity, low self-worth, grief and loss, shame, guilt, anger, attachment and childhood adversities, imposter syndrome, people pleasing, relationship conflict, infidelity, betrayal, sexual abuse, emotional abuse and life transitions.

About Me

I'm a BACP registered integrative counsellor and psychotherapist based in Weybridge, Surrey, serving clients across Walton-on-Thames, Hersham, Addlestone, Woking and beyond.

I specialise in working with individuals and professionals who are struggling with anxiety, overthinking, emotional pressures and relationship challenges. My clients are often people who are functioning on the outside but carrying a lot on the inside — the kind of people who are good at holding things together until they're not.

I have a legal background and over 20 years experience working as a social entrepreneur and over 10 years as a non-executive director for a financial services institution.

I've worked within NHS talking therapies and now run my own private practice, which means I bring experience across a wide range of presentations and backgrounds. I also bring a culturally aware perspective, considering the psychological impact of race, identity and culture where it's helpful to your therapy.

I'm a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their ethical code. I'm fully insured, registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), and attend monthly clinical supervision in accordance with best practice.
