My thoughts on the power of psychological safety facilitated by a relational therapist.

Working in a relational way often means focusing on the relationship between a therapist and client as an integral pathway to mental health and wellness. Using the therapy space to collaborate and co-create meaningful sessions, helping clients to understand themselves better and guiding them to make desired choices that lead to their growth, authenticity and emotional resilience.

➤“Being able to bear witness to your emotional and psychological distress in a genuine and authentic way”.
Therapeutic interventions begin within a secure, empathic and consistent therapeutic relationship. It’s a space to talk about your thoughts and feelings where you feel seen and understood, so you can begin to explore your pain and discomfort without fear of judgement or safety.

➤ Start with finding the right therapist for support. We are all unique, regardless of how similar we may appear in approach and qualification. I suggest you reach out to several counsellors to get a feel of who is right for you. Trust your gut instincts, the right therapist is a key factor in the successful outcome of your therapy.
If you're feeling called to make a shift, therapy can be a supportive space to explore what's weighing on you and find your path towards experiencing deep meaningful change. Please feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to connect.
